Motion-Control Test Run
Admittedly, the subject matter here isn’t the sexiest thing in the world, but I’m pretty pleased with the results I got yesterday from my new Kessler Second Shooter 3-axis motion-control rig.
This was the first time I had used this system in a practical work setting, and I’m really happy with how things turned out. I’m particularly excited about the possibilities it opens up for future projects; constructing more elaborate timelapse sequences, and eventually designing shots with repeatable moves destined for Visual Effects and compositing work.
An office building may not be especially thrilling or glamorous, but I think these clips will lend some good production value as nice b-roll clips, and transitions in a client promotional film I’m currently working on.
Can’t wait to shoot more scenes with the Second Shooter!
